Blue Sun Meadow documents a particular summer day in 2023 when my wife and I took a small train on a countryside excursion through the hill country of Central Texas. They had a loudspeaker at the front playing Johnny Cash the entire way, and the heat and humidity of the day was cooled by the open coach breeze. Many of the field recordings on the album were taken from that day (couldn't use the Johnny Cash, unfortunately!), and it's meant to be listened to loud and as a single piece.

For the decidedly lo-fi music, I played a telecaster and acoustic guitar with mallets, drum machine on several tracks, and a few keys here and there. ~ OFW
